Trying to kickstart my blog into gear again, I am posting two images of urban covered walkways. The top one is on Greyrock Place in Stamford, my new hometown. The bottom is from Bologna.
There are many comments to be made here, but I'll leave it at one: in Bologna, the street and walkways function together as a place. You can comfortably walk, bike, drive, shop, eat or relax there. Are any of these activities comfortable or safe on Greyrock Place?
